The workshop was based on the exploration in full-scale of digital fabrication techniques for creating components deriving from the study process. The idea was to combine four systems generated by form-finding into a new hybrid proposal that would include some of the functionalities, features and organizational abilities belonging to the individual projects. Initially, the team worked with plastic material, with digital tools and with laser cutting machinery to define the new component and its spatial proliferation. Later on, a series of moulds were produced with CAD/CAM technology, and these were then used to create the various components in plaster and steel mesh. Finally the scale 1:1 prototype was assembled.
